Livroteca Brincante do Pina is a community association in the Bode, Recife, that for nearly 30 years has defended the human rights of children and young people through art, reading and culture.

Livroteca Brincante do Pina was born in 1997, when Kcal Gomes turned his stilt house into a reading space for the children of Bode. Almost thirty years later, we are a popular culture centre that keeps running on community dedication — donations, volunteering and, now, a shop of our own.
